Back Page Synopsis of
Slade: Innocence Lost
Part One
The authorities believed that he had killed six people. A Mafia Don was convinced that Slade had killed three of his family. Indeed, Slade had killed one man. He would kill two more before the end of his adventure.
It had all started for Slade, when his father, an MI5 agent, as a young man during World War II, had left him, posthumously, a long letter containing clues to the location of a lost treasure.
All Slade had wanted to do was to locate the son of his Father’s war time OSS counterpart, and together, find and recover three and a half tons of gold bullion, from somewhere along the North African coast; part of the mysterious ‘Rommel’s Treasure’.
But someone, very powerful, wanted Slade out of the picture, dead if possible, and they were doing their best to accomplish that wish.
Part Two
The conclusion to the story of the recovery of the gold. Slade, by chance, meets with Hans, one of the perpetrators of the theft of the gold, in a Moroccan prison. He makes a promise to recover the remaining three tons of gold and share it with Hans’s daughter.
He finds the daughter and they make plans, and she also rapes Slade. They recover the gold. The daughter is eventually killed by her Nazi friends, who steal the gold.
Later, Slade and his friend recover the stolen gold, but others are now interested in the gold.
Slade and his friend plan to convert the gold to currency through a Dubaian Banker in Kloten, Switzerland.
Slade’s friend is killed and following a number of chases, girls and danger, he is finally able to convert the gold and eventually kill another gang boss.
